This premier Grade II Listed hotel on the south coast of England, which featured in the film Quadrophenia undertook a major transformation over a 3 year period. We led a series of successful projects that included the installation of air conditioning to all areas and a complete façade renovation. A large central section of the hotel was rebuilt in the 1980s due to devastating damage following an IRA bomb exploding during the Conservative Party Conference. The hotel was occupied and fully trading throughout the various projects which required close cooperation between hotel management and the construction teams.
