Managing Director

Darren is a Chartered Surveyor and Corporate Fire & Building Engineer. He is a UK registered Expert Witness and a National Council member of the Pyramus & Thisbe Club – the leading club for the promotion of excellence in Party Wall practice.

Darren has over 20 years experience in the property & construction industries in building surveying, project management, development and construction. Prior to his current role, Darren was a Director of Hydon – a regional property Development Company.

Director

Matthew is a Quantity Surveyor and former Commercial Manager with many years’ experience working at a senior level within the commercial office fit out / car retail industries. Projects of note include a new build Audi Car dealership (circa £5M contract value) and new build visitor centre for Cotwold distillery (circa £1M contract value).

Associate Director

Having joined Whitefox from a local property consultancy firm, Nick takes on the role of leading the building surveying team. With 15 years’ post-qualification experience as a Chartered Building Surveyor, Nick started his career in Birmingham before relocating with his family down to the Bournemouth area in 2011.

With a passion for providing clear building surveying advice, Nick has an extensive array of experience in both project and professional services for both regional and national clients. He brings industry leading expertise in dilapidations, landlord and tenant matters, building pathology, insurance valuations, office fit-out and a wide remit of technical due-diligence reporting for owners, occupier, funders, and investors.

Notable projects include a diverse range of refurbishment and repair work schemes to commercial office and industrial buildings across Dorset, Hampshire and West Sussex. Nick also managed the office fit-out work for his previous employer following the acquisition and relocation to new Bournemouth office premises in May 2022.

Outside of work Nick enjoys family time, photography, music, DIY, craft beer and rediscovering the frustrations of golf. He is also a qualified drone pilot and licensed operator, keen to explore the use of new technology in and outside of work.

Building Surveyor

Jon is a Building Surveyor and Project Manager with experience in the hospitality, office/ commercial and residential development sectors.
He is an experienced surveyor who has successfully delivered several high value hotel, care home & office refurbishment projects for our key clients. Jon also undertakes fund monitoring & QS work for our investor / fund clients.

Associate Director

Joe’s role at Whitefox is as senior QS providing project and cost management services to our clients. His portfolio of commercial project work is wide ranging both in size and complexity and geographical location. It includes projects such as Treasure Beach, Sandals Resort Project, Turks and Caicos and a role as Commercial Manager employed as part of the Post Hurricane rebuild and repair pro-gramme for the British Overseas Territory of Anguilla. Joe is a keen golfer and sailor with highlights including sailing as crew on Sanya Serenity Coast, winner of the 2017-2018 Clipper Round The World Yacht Race.

Quantity Surveyor

Lloyd is an experienced Quantity Surveyor with a track record of working on large multi-disciplinary projects both as a main contractor’s QS and as a PQS. Lloyd’s current focus is to provide QS and Contract Administration services for our client’s development projects. Lloyd also undertakes QS fund monitoring alongside colleagues in our QS team.

Assistant Quantity Surveyor

Josh is an assistant QS supporting the other members of the QS team. He is currently studying for an RICS accredited degree. Josh has a keen interest in the property / construction industry and works as part of the QS team providing estimating support and assisting in the delivery of our fund monitoring services.

Consultant Chartered Building Surveyor

Chris is an experienced Chartered Building Surveyor with a background in insurance claims / loss adjusting and core building surveying services mainly for multi storey commercial buildings and developments within the UK and Qatar. Chris’ technical knowledge is broad and includes specialist expertise in the design, specification and installation of fire rated cladding systems to high rise buildings.
