Managing Director

Darren is a Chartered Surveyor and Corporate Fire & Building Engineer. He is a UK registered Expert Witness and a National Council member of the Pyramus & Thisbe Club – the leading club for the promotion of excellence in Party Wall practice.

Darren has over 20 years experience in the property & construction industries in building surveying, project management, development and construction. Prior to his current role, Darren was a Director of Hydon – a regional property Development Company.

Matt Allibone

Matthew Allibone

Director

Matthew is a Quantity Surveyor and former Commercial Manager with many years’ experience working at a senior level within the commercial office fit out/car retail industries.

Matt leads the professional team in the delivery of our services, is a keen golfer and runner, having competed in several long-distance events including the London Marathon.

Associate Director

Joe’s role at Whitefox is as senior QS providing project and cost management services to our clients. His portfolio of commercial project work is wide ranging both in size and complexity and geographical location. It includes projects such as Treasure Beach, Sandals Resort Project, Turks and Caicos and a role as Commercial Manager employed as part of the Post Hurricane rebuild and repair pro-gramme for the British Overseas Territory of Anguilla.

Joe is a keen golfer and sailor with highlights including sailing as crew on Sanya Serenity Coast, winner of the 2017-2018 Clipper Round The World Yacht Race.

Jon Mills

Building Surveyor

Jon is a Building Surveyor and Project Manager with experience in the hospitality, office/ commercial and residential development sectors.

He is an experienced surveyor who has successfully delivered several high value hotel, care home & office refurbishment projects for our key clients. Jon also undertakes fund monitoring & QS work for our investor / fund clients.

Josh Byrne

Josh Byrne

Quantity Surveyor

Josh is an integral part of our QS team, managing several projects and undertaking estimating, valuation & contract administration work. He works closely with a number of our funding clients, advising & assisting them in assessing schemes for development finance approval.

Josh has a keen interest in the property/construction industry and works providing cost consultancy advice and assisting in the delivery of our fund monitoring services.

He too is a keen golfer and is working hard on bringing his handicap down!

Lyn Bentley

Senior Quantity Surveyor

Lyn Bentley joined Whitefox Chartered Surveyors as a Senior Quantity Surveyor, bringing extensive experience and a strong commitment to delivering high-quality, client-focused quantity surveying services.

She works across a diverse range of projects, supporting Whitefox’s growing client base and contributing to the collaborative, professional approach the practice is known for across the South and the UK. 

Hayley Burgess

Office Manager

Hayley brings a wealth of experience from diverse sectors, including property, travel, social enterprise support and banking, making her a valuable addition to our team. Hayley provides continuous support to our clients and our colleagues in the delivery of our services.

Andrea Rider

Client Relationship Manager

With over 30 years of experience in client relationship management and customer support, Andrea is passionate about building long-lasting relationships and making sure our clients feel supported and well looked after.

Andrea’s focus is on strengthening Whitefox’s connections with existing clients, supporting them through their journey and spotting opportunities to add value along the way. She also plays a key role in connecting and reaching out to both existing & prospective clients across the region

Chris Burley

Consultant Chartered Building Surveyor

Chris is an experienced Chartered Building Surveyor with a background in insurance claims / loss adjusting and core building surveying services mainly for multi storey commercial buildings and developments within the UK and Qatar

Chris’ technical knowledge is broad and includes specialist expertise in the design, specification and installation of fire rated cladding systems to high rise buildings.

Barry Coupe

Consultant Architect and RIBA Client Adviser

Barry was the founding partner of a successful private practice based in East Anglia.

He has extensive personal experience dealing with projects up to £100,000,000. His expertise covers many different types of commercial work, including retail, offices and hotels. He has also been prominent in dealing with health care projects, both in the private sector and the NHS. His residential work covers both developers and private clients.

Because of Barry’s experience in dealing with projects from inception through the various work stages to completion, he is now recognised as an RIBA Client Adviser.

The RIBA have only selected 110 architects to hold this qualification because of their all-round procurement and business knowledge, and a proven track record for delivering positive results in construction projects.

Barry is currently based in Dorset, and is also Chairman of a National Charity.

Ralph Davis

Assistant Surveyor

Ralph is studying a T Level in Design, Planning and Surveying in the Built Environment, with the ambition to qualify as a Chartered Building Surveyor.

His role at Whitefox is to support the team across a variety of projects, including fund monitoring, building surveying, project management, and quantity surveying.

Ralph is well-informed on the latest practices and technologies from his studies and brings with him a fresh perspective.
