A challenging project in the heart of Oxford City centre to deliver a 22 bed hotel extension sited on the rear car park. Access was via a passageway under the main hotel and the site compound was constrained, being bordered on all sides by Oxford University colleges. The site is opposite Oxford University Exam Board College and sits on the historic site of the Eastgate to the old city walls. Archaeology, logistics, rights of light, Party Wall Act & Conservation challenges all had to be overcome in the successful delivery of the scheme.
